I am a Seattle architect whose design practice was established in 1998 with an emphasis on direct, one-on-one, collaboration with clients to assist them in achieving their project goals. I bring years of experience to the effort, having spent twenty-one years involved with retail, office, and mixed-use projects at Callison Architecture; and six years involved with residential and hospitality projects at Roland Terry AIA & Associates in Seattle. As a Seattle architect, my practice is focused at new houses, residential remodels and renovations, second homes, and small retail and commercial projects in the Pacific Northwest. Many of my residential projects are in waterfront or view locations.
As a small architecture firm, I involve a team of engineering, building envelope, and energy consultants, CAD [computer-aided drafting] technicians, interior designers, and building industry artisans depending on the needs of the project. I work directly with clients on all aspects of project delivery including feasibility, predesign, design, permit and construction documentation, permitting, and construction administration. I work closely with clients to produce common sense solutions that balance project design, business, and technical requirements while achieving budget and scheduling targets.
